Robin’s Bio

Robin O’Hara has over 40 years of experience in fine art, design and illustration. She accepts commissions for realistic depictions of children and animals in watercolor and gouache. Her colorful horse paintings hang at Santa Anita Park and her privately commissioned racing art hangs in the homes of dozens of horse owners. Robin is also adept at using digital programs to draw and paint unique characters and scenes for children’s books. Currently Robin is illustrating a book series with children’s author Laura Brazeau that centers around a diverse group of characters called “First Class Friends.” Robin attended undergraduate classes in Design at Iowa State University and holds a Summa Cum Laude degree in Studio Arts from the University of Pittsburgh. She lives in Florida with her husband and son.
